MUVAWAY offers seasonal rentals in Mallorca for 1 to 10 months. This describes our service range, not a general legal limit.
Purpose matters, not just duration
Articles 2 and 3 of Spain’s Urban Leases Act (LAU) distinguish permanent housing needs from other uses, including seasonal rentals. They do not set an automatic ten- or eleven-month boundary. A short term alone does not make a tenancy seasonal.

Before you enquire
State your dates and genuine temporary reason, such as a fixed-term project, study or a transition during renovation. Clarify with the owner whether the intended use fits before signing.
Your rental profile provides the owner with the details for your enquiry. A saved profile is not a confirmed booking.
For owners
You decide which months to offer. Actual use, the reason for the stay and the agreement must fit together. A duration within our service range does not by itself guarantee any particular legal classification.
If your plans change
Discuss any extension or shorter stay early. Availability, purpose and contractual options must be checked for your specific situation. A new contract or a different end date does not automatically resolve this.
