Campos lies in the south of Mallorca between Llucmajor and Santanyí, around 40 minutes from Palma. The town lives off agriculture and is known for cheese, vegetables and its Thursday market. The municipality includes Sa Ràpita with its harbour and the Es Trenc beach, the longest undeveloped stretch of sand on the island. For a seasonal rental, Campos offers plenty of space for the money, a town centre without tourism and still ten minutes to the water.
Daily life and getting around
Campos has supermarkets, doctors, schools and the Thursday market. It is an agricultural town without tourism, so daily life is correspondingly ordinary.
Palma is around 40 minutes, the airport 35. The Es Trenc beach or Sa Ràpita is ten minutes away. A car is a requirement.
Who rents here, and winter
People who want plenty of space for the money, value a quiet town centre and still want to reach the water in ten minutes.
Nothing changes in winter, because the town does not live off tourism. Es Trenc is practically empty between November and March — for many the best reason to winter here.
